Public Ledger of Credentials Organization

The PLC Organization is a small Swiss Association ("Verein") which provides open network identifier infrastructure. It serves as a neutral steward for the Public Ledger of Credentials (PLC) system, which provides persistent identifiers to over 40 million accounts in the atproto social web ecosystem.

The Organization was established in early 2026, and is in the process of developing policies and building operational capacity. Please reach out if you would like to collaborate or support our work.
